Coconut water and overproof rum is how this night is turning out.

Rum, not just the shitty bacardi you lost your panties to.

Today is a rum day. Dark, light, gold and silver. I like it all.  

Dark rum has a molasses overtone. Some like it, some don't.

Rum has a past that is steeped in slavery.

And pirates.

I wonder if Cuban rum is any good. The Romeo and Julieta cigar was. Stupid trade embargo.

In some regions spelled Rhum.

Today is a rum day.

Beachcomber

Time for a drink. Maybe a rum concoction.

Beachcomber recipe


serve in Champagne Saucer
1.5 oz vodka

0.25 oz coconut rum

0.5 oz pineapple juice

0.25 oz orange juice

1 slice orange
Add pineapple juice, orange juice, Vodka, Coconut Rum.

Shake with ice and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass.

Garnish with an orange slice.
