Bond

Not my favorite James Bond. They give him eyelid prostetics to convince the bad guy he is Japanese. They Should have stuck with just the stealing of rockets. A lot of subplots. Kind of boring.

Blofeld is one of my favorite villians though. I wonder how he funds such an elaborate crime syndicate?

The Vesper

In Ian Fleming's original book, Casino Royale (1953), Bond orders a dry martini in a deep champagne glass, asking for it to be made with three measures of Gordon's gin, one of vodka, half a measure of Kina Lillet, a sweet French apertif. "Shake it very well until it's ice-cold, then add a large thin slice of lemon-peel."
He calls this drink a "Vesper", after Vesper Lynd, the original Bond Girl.

Thunderball (1965)

Watching the 1965 Classic Thunderball set in Nassau, Bahama.
He fights Largo to stop a nuclear warhead, but I think they should all just kick back and have a drink. The money and the ladies, I would hang out Emilio Largo. He has a pool full of sharks and henchmen.

Bond

I guess James Bond went out to disarm the world cocktail at a time.

Drycleaning all those liquor and lipstick stains out of you suit. Hey wait. He never has luggage. Where do all the suits come from?

Knee deep in tail. I guess they were VD free during the 60's.

A Vodka Martini

1 1/2 oz Dry Vermouth

3 oz Vodka

Shake gently over ice. You don't want the ice to crack and shavings to make the drink look cloudy.
